1. Acceptance
By installing or using AsterKit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
AsterKit is intended for users 13 and older. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian purchase the app and complete the initial setup.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AsterKit on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the app, except where prohibited by applicable law.
4. Purchase, trial, and refunds
AsterKit is sold for a one-time price of $4.99 USD (or local equivalent) with a 7-day free trial. The trial begins when you complete Parent Setup. After the trial, premium features remain locked unless purchased. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google per their store policies — we have no ability to issue refunds directly.
5. Not medical advice
AsterKit is an informational tracking tool, not a medical device and not contraception. Predictions are statistical estimates based on your logged data and should not be used as the sole basis for family-planning, fertility, or health decisions. Consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical advice. Adolescent cycles are normally irregular; predictions improve in accuracy after several cycles are logged but remain estimates.
6. Your data
All cycle data is stored on your device. We do not receive, view, or back up your cycle data. Loss of your device or uninstalling the app permanently deletes the data. We strongly recommend you do not rely on AsterKit as the sole record of health information you wish to preserve.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
AsterKit is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including any health, family-planning, or financial decisions you make based on the app's output.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may terminate the license if you materially violate these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; the updated version takes effect when posted at this URL. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
Governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.
